Teacher’s salary to transfer – benefits needs to be consistent?
What agreement is necessary from regional schools?

Add more capacity in the classrooms, more students applying than seats.

Expanding Richmond Technical Center Programs

Benefits of using a Governor School Model

Come up with expected questions and have each member to answer through emails.

            Jim Rothrock – Rehabilitative Service for employment for the disabled.

Action Plan:

Eli:
Contact Haskell Brown to follow up on the records and paperwork on the creation of Maggie L Walker Governor School.

Eli will reserve the 2nd floor meeting room for 3 or 4 weeks for every Wednesday from 9:00am to 11:00pm

Roy will contact Minutemen Tech to receive information.

Invite Councilman Chris Hilbert to the next meeting.

Schedule Carol Wolfe into Doug’s meeting with Harry Black on Friday.

Meet with Gary Matcher



Goal:

PPEA:  Public Private Education Association?

Submit a formal proposal to the school board.

Meet with Henrico PTA Council and Richmond District PTA councils.  They are the audience to sell the comprehensive school idea to.

Create an Executive Summary about what goals we are trying to accomplish.

Send in questions for next meeting, each committee to answer questions that each member has to build a solid knowledge base, and for appropriate response.

New Meeting Plan:

Formal meetings held on every other Wednesday. 

After gathering necessary data, we then will proceed with setting up meeting with superintendents.

Next meeting date:  March 28, 2007, Second Floor Conference Room, Richmond City Hall.  9:00am.
